Nausea
I am determined to be proactive to prevent getting so nauseous this time around and I remembered seeing this posted in my midwifery school yahoo group. Has anyone done this or heard about it? I'm going to try it!

Re: Nausea
Wow. I've never heard it explained like that.. makes sense now why my last 3 pregnancies were so *awful*, I didn't have a gallbladder.
I'm totally going to try this. Thanks so much for posting!!! ![]() Do you know more about the B6? I was always told it was helpful. Though, I took it for the first time during my last pregnancy and that was by far the worst I have felt so far. Maybe it was the B6?

Re: Nausea
Do canned beans count? Cause I can see myself managing to warm up canned beans a lot more easily than if I have to soak and cook them from dry.

Re: Nausea
Sheena - My MW has always recommended B6, but I've never taken it myself.
Erin -I'm doing canned! Soaking and cooking when you're already feeling bad is asking a lot, I think. It didn't say, so I'm assuming canned are fine. |

Re: Nausea
Interesting. It does make sense, the explanation about bile causing it and the increase in bile production coming along with increase in hormone levels. Very interesting.
![]() While I don't necessarily like feeling nauseated, I can handle it as long as I am not actually vomiting! I absolutely detest

Re: Nausea
I really wish they went into a bit more detail about this: "Even worse is the recommendation to take vitamin B6. This usually exacerbates the morning sickness, not abates it." , it seems to contradict everything I have read or been told about MS.
Still, I fully plan on stocking up on beans and giving this a go. I have a little less than a week left until D-day... or maybe it should be called P-day? :P
