Help! My Jars Didn't Seal!

I made 8 jars of raspberry jam yesterday. 4 of them sealed and the other 4 didn't. Can I re-process them? I put them in the fridge overnight so I would have to let them come to room temperature first.

Yup, no worries! OR you can chuck them in the freezer or fridge and just use them first.

I would just put them in the fridge and use them first! If you re-process them, your jam might not be as tasty!

Re: Help! My Jars Didn't Seal!

you can run them through your dishwasher just as they are and that will reseal them.

You could put them in the freezer for freezer jam if they don't seal. I believe it will only last about 3 weeks in the fridge.
You can reprocess them, but I have always heard mixed results and reviews about that.

Re: Help! My Jars Didn't Seal!

Thanks, everyone! I just decided to give it away, since we're planning on making many more batches over the summer. It's good to know that I *can* re-process if necessary!
