What did your BLW kiddo eat today?

Thought we could share what our kiddos ate today. Include descriptors where applicable so folks new to BLW will know how you cut things (size shape etc)! I'll go first...

My LOs are 8.5 months actual and have been on solids about a month.

Breakfast- toast sticks smeared with cream cheese, peach wedges

Lunch- mashed black beans, shredded cheese

Dinner- I'm making hamburgers and oven fries so I'll crumble some of the ground beef I guess? Haven't tried ground meats yet. Ant suggestions?

We do one small meal a day since she's still young. Today she had an apricot sliced in half and some water in a sippy cup (we've just started introducing the sippy).

Yesterday was some avocado, using a mum mum cracker as a spoon. I dip the cracker and hand it to her to do the rest.

Re: What did your BLW kiddo eat today?

My ten month old for breakfast had diced up baked chicken breast, overcooked pasta and 1/4 of a pop tart. For lunch, grandma fed her about 1/4 of a hamburger crumbled up, about a 1/3 of a baked potato and 2 spears of asparagus cut up. For dinner she had white rice, picadillo, corn and a cookie.

She loved spicy foods for some reason. The only thing I've found that she doesn't like is lychees. We struggled to try to get her to eat baby food. One day I tried regular table food cut into small pieces and she loved it. Now she usually gets whatever we are having.

Yesterday my LO (10months) had:

Breakfast - Some cheerios, toast with peanut butter (cut into strips and then the strips cut into about 4 smaller pieces), pieces of banana

Lunch - She shared my pita with me, so I broke off small pieces of pita bread, chicken and cucumber

Supper - Baked chicken (cut into cubes), mashed potatoes, cooked carrots and some cucumber.

Re: What did your BLW kiddo eat today?

Yesterday, Leo (not quite 9 mo.) had:

Breakfast: cheerios and a handful of halved blueberries
Lunch: baked macaroni and cheese, about a third of a banana, and green beans
Dinner: shredded pork roast, mashed potatoes, peas, and some quartered grapes

He has a sippy of water or pumped breast milk with each meal, too, but usually only drinks an ounce or so.

Right now he's munching on a small blueberry muffin and some chopped pineapple.

Re: What did your BLW kiddo eat today?

yesterday I found DD liked raviolis at Olive Garden. I need to buy some raviolis for home

Today DD has had:
pear slices
orange slices
yogurt
cinnamon bread

she was asleep when I ate lunch, so her next solid meal will be dinner. She'll probably have some pork loin and bell pepper and shredded cheese and parsnips.

she had some freeze dried peach as a snack a minute ago.

Teddy is almost 8 months. He had boob for breakfast, and lunch was more boob then quartered grapes, black beans, and baby puffs. Dinner will be grazing from the offerings at a backyard party of a friend, so probably bites of masa from tamales, fruit, cheese. Stuff like that.
