Re: How long can you hide a belly? *pics anyone*?

No one knew I was pregnant until I was 8 months along. I have a long torso and wear jackets at work. I was due on july 15 and in early june peole started asking when I was due. I got a lot of suprised looks when I said in 5 weeks. I told my boss and dept co-workers in Feb and assumed everyone else knew. On my last day of work, someone said "and when are you due?"

I could wear non-maternity pants and skirts until a couple weeks before due date. The pjs at the hospital are not materity.

Pix at 35 weeks and 12 hrs before birth (41 weeks and a few days).

How in the world did you miss TWINS until 20 weeks along?!

ETA: I was almost 20 weeks along before I showed with DD. Before that, people just thought I was packing on a few.

Yes. 2 words: I'm fat. So I hide it well. With my daughter it took forever to show.

I know, eh? Long story but basically with everything that was not/happening, I honestly never clued in. The even weirder thing is the week before I found out, I was shopping and was so thrilled to be buying sz. 5 jeans as I'd lost weight!?! Anyhoo...after I found out I just started growing and growing, like my body was playing catch up. At the end though (I worked until 35 wks and gave birth at 36w6d), I was still smaller than the 4 other coworkers who were due around the same time, expecting singletons. With DD, I never had as much 'luck', I popped at 12 wks and gained the same amount of weight as the boys!

Ok, before I shaddup here - I didn't feel quite so lame...my cousin's gf went into emerg thinking she had appendicitis...and left the hospital with a fullterm baby boy! Apparently 'clueless' is a family trait

Eta: I only wish I still fit in those jeans today, lol!!
