She was asking in the OP about a comparison between this and formula. The milk is fine for kids that eat a balanced diet. This and the formula provide some extra calories and nutrients.

And 2.5 g per ounce comes out to 20 g per 8 ounces... Not 24... Just for a more accurate comparison.

I think I will keep some on hand. My baby is a good eater most of the time but on th occasion that she's not it will be good to have the extra vitamins over the milk and it'll be easier to travel with.
