ragababe inserts

I don't really care for the diapers (not that I've ever used them..) I just don't wanna even go down the road of becoming obsessed with trying to get something that's so hard to get (I can't even imagine how much sleep I'd lose etc..because I get obsessed SO easily! )

ANYways..are the inserts/liners really that awesome? so many people seem to love them! I was wondering if they're worth getting? are they more absorbent than say hemp/bamboo..or maybe even zorb (which I've heard is really good..?)?

I think they are! I even love the thin liners! They seem to be soooo absorbant! But I don't have a heavy wetter, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

HTH!!!

Re: ragababe inserts

I bought the inserts because everyone was saying that they are so fantastic and I am always looking for something new for nighttime stuffing. They don't hold much at all! I tested them at <7 oz. My flip organic inserts hold more than 17oz! I was really disappointed. I don't know what all the fuss is about, other than the owner, Joy, seems like a truly lovely person.

I don't have them, curious how many layers they are? I have organic cotton sherpa, I've been using it for years. In comparison to other soaker materials (bamboo, hemp, zorb) I don't find it thin or that absorbent

I was looking into getting some inserts since they are readily available. I wanted to use some to stuff in my BG 4.0s. I believe there are 2 layers of bamboo sandwiched in between cotton sherpa. In the AIOs there are 3 layers of bamboo with no cotton sherpa.

I got a bunch and they seem so fluffy. I have a bunch of different inserts and they seem very plush and all natural cotton against baby's skin if you lay them and don't stuff them. They look very absorbent but I'm not much help because I didn't put them to the test yet. They are gorgeous big and soft. Not thin and kinda hard like hemp inserts.

The inserts are great in a stay-dry pocket!
And best of all: Only 1 wash to prep!!!!!

My son is a heavy wetter and I do occasionally need a hemp doubler for extended wearing, though. And when it's time to upgrade to the next size larger, it's OBVIOUS! Lol.
