Does anyone make a sling for nursing a bigger baby?

My 8.5 month old son is wearing me out - literally!! Lately the only way he will relax while nursing (and not wiggle, kick, punch, and grab compulsively) is if I kind of cradle him sideways in my arms while he hangs off my boob. If I try to support my arms in any way - i.e. propping one side on my knee with my leg up on the arm of a chair - he starts squirming, so I guess he likes the feeling of just hanging there. That would be fine except he's 18 pounds and growing!! While I can appreciate the arm workout, its killing my back.

Does anyone know if there's any kind of sling that I could use to support his butt while he nurses sideways? I have the impression that sling baby carriers are generally for little babies. (He will usually nurse in the Ergo if we are away from home, but has a fit if I try to get him in it at home).

Thanks!

I use a Maya wrap ring sling and although dd isn't that big, there's plenty of slack left. It might work for you as well

I would say any RS with a long tail would work.
