Lol! Yeah, like I said, I've been collecting for 2 years. We really wanted our last two babies to be close in age... I *may* have used buying NB CDs as a sort of retail therapy for my lack of pregnant-ness. :P

You must birth itty bitty babies! My boys were huge (8.10lbs, 8.1lbs) so they never fit anything NB size for more than a week or two.

Re: Newborn stahses

I have 12 infant prefolds and 12 small flats. I'm trying to decided what I want to get for this new baby. I've been drooling over wool longies lately. I have teeny tiny babies, so I know I'll need true newborn size diapers.

I thought I had teeny tiny babies after my first was born (5.13) but then 2 and 3 came in at 8.5 & 8.4 respectively so I guess dd1 was the oddball lol.

I have nothing so far but am itching to buy - I won't till I see a heartbeat though.

Planned:

12 lil joeys
6 Softbums Echos
6 me-made minkee covers
Extra 18 stay dry inserts
1 dozen flats and 1 dzn bamboo prefolds to fill in any gaps

Well I have plenty of prefolds, but will probably get more newborn sized. I do need to get on the knitting bandwagon and make up 3-4 longies, and 3-4 soakers, oh and 2 of the knitted kicking bags. It's going to be a yarn filled nine months with making the kids winter things and all the baby things I'm happy about that.

HAHA. I can't keep a pair of socks to save my life. I only put claire in sandals when it's warm enough, because I hate finding socks. socks that match themselves AND diapers?! I'm impressed.

I made diapers before Claire was born. I haven't made too many since, because...yeah. she's a handful. But, I will probably make inserts for diapers that I have (pockets and AIO's that I made). We EC with Claire, and before she got sick this week I was putting her in panties and doing pretty well. I fully expect to be able to use all of her diapers for this baby. I don't really care if it's a boy and he's wearing pink. If my husband does, he can buy me some new diapers! I bought quite a few GN colors, so that's good.

If it's a girl I can use a lot of Claire's clothes, but if it's a boy (I kind of have a feeling it is), then I might make a few things for the small stage. Maybe. I'm not that into boy clothes.

I make baby slings, so I'm sure that I'll make some of those before he/she is born. If anyone else wants one....let me know! Linen, silk, cotton ring slings, 45-50$. I'm thinking of trying to WAHM by making slings.

Re: Newborn stashes

I have about 1 1/2 dozen infant PFs and 2 fitteds left from Mikayla. I bought ~10 fitteds before I MC'd in March. I'm hoping to buy some Thirsties DUO's and more PF's before this baby comes. If I really get lucky, I'll get some more fitteds or Megaroos as well...but that just depends on how money goes this winter. I'll probably crochet some woolies when I find out what I'm having. ^_^
