vacation with baby

we are going on our first vacation this weekend. we are going to disneyworld. any suggestions or tidbits of helpful information for a new family? we will be flying and staying in disney world. thanks

Make sure you carry plenty of water bottles for your kids. My kids were always so thirsty in line.

It depends on how old your baby is. I bet some kind of soft carrier would be extremely helpful, especially while in the airport and walking around the theme park. My DS sleeps in his Babyhawk really well and also enjoys it on outings.

We took a cross-country trip when DD was almost 2 and it went really well. I bought a bag of cheap thrift store toys, washed and sanitized them, and wrapped each one individually. If she was good in the car for a while, I'd give her a "present". They were nothing special, but because they were wrapped and new, they seemed pretty special to her and kept her occupied for quite a while each time.

Oh, and on the airplane, I've heard to nurse or bottlefeed your baby when you're taking off and landing to help baby's ears.
