Freezer meals/ premade meals to make ahead

As our lives get busier and we have less time on our hands I figured this would be a good thread to refer to for easy meals that can be stored. Feel free to add to it!

I don't have a freezer, but MIL (lives just around the corner) said we could put freezer meals in her freezer, so I'll def. be saving the links!

We have a separate freezer in our garage, too. I should fill that up with some stuff. I'd contribute recipes, but I don't really use a recipe most of the time. I'll probably put lasagna, mexican lasagna, chick. enchiladas, split pea soup, beef stroganoff, mac-n-cheese, and chili in there. I'll most likely enhance that food stash by saving a few of the monthly meal swap meals.

Re: Freezer meals/ premade meals to make ahead

another good idea if you have little toddlers at home like i do.. is to have stuff premade for them.. you wont want to cook elaborate things for your toddler with a newbie around. I do homemade chicken nuggets, single serve veg mac n chz. I also use cresent dough and make little dumplings filled with meat vegs and cheese.. DD LOVES them. Ill post some recipes when I have more time to type.

Danielle, I'd be interested in your homemade chicken nuggets. Do you have a recipe?
