Re: Freezer meals/ premade meals to make ahead

I am just about done! We only have our regular fridge freezer, so I cant go too crazy!

I have:

2 dozen pumpkin pancakes
2 dozen french toast sticks
2 dozen apple cinnamon mini muffins
1 dozen blueberry muffins
1 dozen cranberry orange muffins
6 mini apple pies
1 dozen mini chicken pot pies
1 regular chicken pot pie
1 spinach and cheese strata
1 buffalo chicken sheherd's pie
1 pizza casserole

And tomorrow I am planning to add:

As many homemade chicken nuggets as I can get out of the chicken I have left
1 regular shepherd's pie
about 50 stuffed mushrooms

And then as I get the ingredients I want to add some soups as well, probably chili, something with squash (any ideas??), and maybe another.... any soup recipes that freeze well, and then go into the crockpot would be welcomed!!!

I have slacked off MAJORLY. A few weeks ago we ended up in a tight spot financially and ended up having to eat the few freezer meals i had made. we have a few frozen foods in there but that's it. i should get back to trying to stock it up.

We are done making freezer meals for the most part. I'm sure I will want a few more when the time comes but for now the freezer is out of space.

I am waiting until the end of this month as our freezer can't handle too much. I am probably going to buy some dinner stuff from Fresh N Easy (it's a natural market that has a lot of premade meals that have no preservatives and are made daily). I am going to make huge batches of muffins, pancakes, burritos, and probably soup myself though.

So far we have. . . .nothing. Unless you count the frozen chicken nuggets I bought at Walmart the other day. Guess I better put making up frozen meals on my to-do list here pretty soon.

Re: Freezer meals/ premade meals to make ahead

Over the weekend I made 3 big pots of soup, tuna casseroles, lasagnas, pesto cubes, ziti, meat-loaves, and muffins. Each dish has at least 4 meals worth. I'm planning to do some chicken marbella and a few more things next weekend.
