Re: NB diapers on a 6lb baby - pic heavy

My SIL just had a 6 lb. 1 oz. baby girl. She was 5 lbs. 8 oz. when she came home at almost a week old. I bought her 2 NB Super Brites and cannot wait to try them on her with the preemie prefolds! I already gave her a bunch of other covers and stuff to try out. She's just so teeny, even the NB sposies are big, LOL.

aw - what a cute little dude, I love the outfit in the last picture. VERY interesting seeing the way the different diapers fit [or don't fit] at that age

Re: NB diapers on a 6lb baby - pic heavy

He is super adorable!!!

I have tiny babies, too. Thanks for the pics and reviews. I did CD my youngest as a newborn, but used mostly prefolds and covers. I didnt branch out much at that age, so it's good to see other stuff. We're TTC, and I'm making a list of things that work/dont work for tiny newbies on my computer. Your post was very helpful!!

All the women in my family seem to have teeny tiny babies and I'm expecting the same, this was really helpful - thanks!

I'll try to do the same on Wednesday - today and tomorrow are too busy, and now he's 9lbs, and the difference of what fits or not is remarkable!! GroVia is still the go-to though!

Rocknlou - This question seems kinda silly, but where did you get the IKEA flats?? I tried looking them up on IKEA's website with no luck. They look like they fit a newborn very well! & if for some reason they don't sell them anymore, what about thr muslin flats you had in the next pics? ) My 3rd baby (1st daughter yay!!!) will be born in thr next 4-7 weeks, & I would love to get some for her! Thanks!!!
