Snack ( or food ) Ideas please...

for a 7mth old...
So far he likes.. ( snacks )
Cherrios..
cubed avacado..
cubed tofu baked...

that just seems kinda bland..
He eats what we eat.. like baked chicken in little tiny pieces..
tiny cubes of Butternut squash , carrots , sweet peas

is he lossing out ?? I really need some more ideas.. and maybe something that all 3 of my kids would like that is healthy .. ( 4 , almost 3 , 7mth )

My DS likes well steamed green beans and unsalted saltines. And those little gerber star things too. Mashed Sweet potatoes were a big hit with DD. I make sweet potato fried and give a few unsalted to my DC they love them. Hope some mama have more creative ideas than that for you though!

My dd is allergic to sweet potatoes.. but you made me think of maybe Baked potatoes..

sounds like ds is eating well and not missing out,I fed all four of my children from what we were having ourselves and now my daughter is doing the same with our dgrands good job mom

little pieces of cheese
yogurt
cottage cheese(my dd doesn't like it though)
oatmeal(real oatmeal not baby oatmeal)
scrambled eggs
Oh, don't forget about beans.

Oatmeal or grits are good too... DD loved cream of wheat also. Baked potatoes or unsalted (baked not fried) french fries work well. DD's fav food is broccoli--isn't that weird!

He has got to eat yogurt.. and icecream ( dh likes to be the fun daddy )
and I was thinking about plain regular oatmeal.. that is a great idea!!

my dd likes mixed veggies.. she loves the colors..and differ flavors.. she has loved those forever.. lol..

My dd is obsessed with mashed cauliflower. My mom started her on it. She makes it as her "starch". (she's on the south beach diet.) Just steam some caul, add a little milk (could use breastmilk, formula etc.) and put it in the food processor. Kind of like mashed potatoes.

My dd always liked soy yogurt too but I can't remember when I started her on that

Peas! not mashed peas.. peas are nice and soft anyway.. my ds LOVES LOVES LOVEs peas.. and has forever..
