:( help...

How come when I pump I only get like 1/2 as from one breast as I get from the other one? I haven't nursed in 4 hours. Omar work. And I have gotten almost 4 oz from my right and 1.5 from my left! What do I do to fix this?

My left side makes more than my right. It's bigger now too

I started always putting him on the right side first. It seems to have even things out a bit.

Mine do the same thing. I don't know how to fix it. Sometimes I pump one more than the other. Or ler DD nurse one longer. Sorry Mama...no helpful advise here.

I have this same issue and all my girlfriends that have bfed have said the same thing. Strange but I guess it's just like the rest of our body, nothing is perfectly symmetric. I also start with the "weaker" side majority of the time and it seems to help

Ok I feel better now that it seems like it's common... But is everyone else make 1/2 as much in one breast that seems like a huge difference?!

Yes, my left makes double what my right side makes. Every once in a while they are close, but not very often. I have tried just about everything & the right side just won't catch up.

Me too, just reverse the sides. Drives me nuts while pumping, but whatever.

It's kinda weird but I'm always a little proud of the weaker side when it comes close to the stronger side.

Way to go, Left Boob! Way to go.

Re: :( help...

Yup...I look a little lopsided too!...lol
You can single pump that one side frequently to try to increase demand out of the "milk dud"

Re: :( help...

My DD has always favored my left over my right and it has made me very lopsided. I have to pump for a really long time to come close to even matching the left side. HTH
