Re: Can I use just water on my wipes?

6 yrs of cloth diapering and all I've ever used it tap water. I can see why solutions might be nice, but I'm all for keeping it simple and water works fine.

I just use water too, but no wipe warmer. I just run 1-2 under warm tap water prior to each change. If I want to get fancy I might put some coconut oil on a wipe, but that's about it.

With my first son (7 years ago) I had a wipe warmer and I did a special solution and all... but it was more hassle than it was worth IMO.

Re: Can I use just water on my wipes?

Like many mamas here, we just use water and wet from the sink as needed Occasionally I'll add a drop of Dr. Bronners, but usually not. We had a wipe warmer and used that to keep the water warm (never to store wipes) until it died. We never replaced it.

I do, however, keep a bottle of Kissaluv's diaper potion spray in the diaper bag in case I don't have access to water for an emergency poop I still have 3/4 of the same bottle I bought more than a year ago. It does not get used much!

Re: Can I use just water on my wipes?

We have warm water in a pump coffee thermos at the change table. That's all we ever use and it's a bit more convenient than going to the tap, in case you need more wipes than you expected.

Re: Can I use just water on my wipes?

We use just water too and think it's just great! I used to use just water from the tap (didn't even wait for it to warm up ), but just recently bought a wipe warmer. Now I keep filtered water in the wipe warmer and just dip 1 or 2 wipes in there before each diaper change.

Re: Can I use just water on my wipes?

Absolutely! I experimented with other solutions and always came back to plain water. I kept it in a small spray bottle near the changing table and just sprayed each wipe as I used it.
