Folding a prefold for a toddler??

I posted this maybe a week ago and didn't get a response so I'll try again

My son is 2 and I jsut bought some prefolds for him so I could practice since I will be using them with my new baby that is due in July.

Anyway, what is the best fold for a toddler? so far, I am just laying it flat, bringing up the front and putting a snappi on it. It is not working out well though! LOL.. It makes practically shorts, with gaps, and oh, not so good! Is there a more common way to put one on a toddler??

Thanks!

Darcy

My DD is 21 months and I usually use this fold http://www.diaperpages.com/newspaper_fold.php I pin more often than I use a Snappi though.

I do the bikini twist on my 16 month DD. If I ever get around to buying some snappis, I'll probably do that a lot more often, and get a snugger fit, too. I'm not an expert though, I mostly just trifold in a wrap.

I like the newspaper fold for my 14mo old dd. I have kind of changed it a tad to fit her better but its pretty much the same.

The newspaper fold works the best for us too. I've tried others but find that this one gives us the most coverage.

Okay, I've been reluctant to try the bikini twist on my ds (18 months). I worried that if he poops, it will be impossible to shake off into the toilet because it will be stuck in the "twist" of the fold. Tell me it isn't a problem I usually use the newspaper fold. Sometimes I play around with folding the excess in the back instead of the front too.
