HELP!!! DS WON'T eat with DH!!!!

HELP PLEASE!!!
DH just called me (I'm at work) and DS(5months) won't eat from a bottle with him anymore. He did this last week when I worked 5 hours, he didn't eat ANYTHING when I was gone.
DS ate from his bottle (bm) with my SIL but for some reason DH can't get him to eat from the bottle anymore.

He is fed up and said he is going to walmart tomorrow to buy gerber (not cool) I told him I want to make his baby food so just buy the solid food form and I'd make him some baby food. DH said no he was buying gerber and don't argue about it!!! WTH!?!

ADVICE IS MUCH APPRICIATED IN ALL THESE AREAS!!!!!!

At 5 months, has he had solids yet? Solid food is not a replacement for breastmilk, especially at this age.

As for the bottle, I have no great advice, since my DD is 3 months and we haven't been successful in getting her to take one at all yet (except for one five second latch). BUT babies do go through phases... he could be teething and really want the comfort of nursing, or a variety of other things.

Hopefully others will have some great advice for you!!!

Yes he eats oatmeal. He was a almost 10 lb baby and weighed 19 on just breastmilk at 4 months. Kept reaching for my food and would cry at restaurants if he saw me eating. Grr.
I think he's teething. The weird thing is when I got home I tried a bottle quickly with him and he took it...????

I think it is something your DH will have to work out with your son. Are you going back to work with your DH the main caregiver? I am not a fan of solids under 6m so I would say try to discourage your DH from giving them in replacement of breastmilk ( my ds was a big one too-9.2lbs at 37w, we started solids around 8m)

Has dh tried holding him differently while he is feeding him? Sometimes my hubby will be holding Natalie (4 months) and she is crying and instead of attempting to hold her in a different way he hands her back to me. He forgets that she doesn't like to be held in cradle position.

So maybe if he's trying to feed baby in cradle and baby doesn't like it he could try holding him facing out and feeding him that way? I think guys sometimes keep trying to pound the square peg in a round hole and get frustrated when it doesn't work.

I think this is the exact problem!!!!! I tries giving the bottle in the same position I nurse him in to show DH that he just wants to be bottle fed but feel as though he is nursing. I tell DH to be patient bcuz if DS sees dad frustrated it just frustrates DS more.
I've tried explaining food isn't a supplement for milk and even take to his dad about it who agreed that if he wants to five food he needs to give a good meal of BM too.
Idk.
We will see. I nagg him enough about putting CDs on DS without gaping in the legs so I don't want him to have the I can't do anything right feeling. Ya know?

Also pp...I have gone back to work but only PT. I am gone 3 days for 5 hours and one day for 7.

Ok- UPDATE.
DS won't take milk from a bottle at all... not from me, DH, my mom, on and on...even tried a different cup. He drinks water from a sippy cup but not milk.
Idk what else to do. He only wants milk from the boob.
