Re: Has anyone searched for the trimmest option?

I'm all about trim. Really don't like bulky at all especially on a newbie or infant. I found that sized prefolds, small flats, Snugglebottoms fitteds under Nikky covers and sized AIO were trimmest when she was a tiny baby. Now ETP, snappied flats under Nikky and BGE are my go to trim options. We do mostly wool but she is pretty much always in regular clothes out of the house. She is about average height and weight but built petite so she can wear 12 months in pants. We also have some 9 month pants that fit like capris that she has been wearing under dresses.

My trimmest option is hemp inserts with sized covers (Tiny Tush is my fave).

Re: Has anyone searched for the trimmest option?

For a Pocket Diaper The BG or FB, or Sunbaby Stuffed with a Premium JoeyBunz is super trim for us

For Covers an Origami Folded Flat with a Flip, GBG Wool Cover, or an Econobum

AIO~ BG Elemental, or the now discontinued BG AIO

Re: Has anyone searched for the trimmest option?

Trimmest I have tried in order of increasing bulk -
Bright star baby aio-ds had one on this am & I seriously thought dh put him in a sposie. It was that trim! Plus he was in 6-12 size pants... My 18 month old!

Bottombumpers/grovia aio
Sized BG aio (except not the larges the difference between med & large was huge)
BG elemental/organic

A lot depends on the size of your baby. More will fit trim on a toddler than a 10 lb baby.

Re: Has anyone searched for the trimmest option?

My DD is 8 mos, 18lbs, 27" and has chubby thighs and a slim waist. I second the sized prefolds and Nikky covers like nonipie mentioned. I've tried a ridiculous amount of types/styles/brands and the trimmest I've found, without a doubt it a StarLight Expressions extended tab prefold with a Nikky cover. It's truly as trim as a disposable (and I don't say that about most CDs). For an AIO, on a toddler I like the BG AIO.
