Bummis Whisper
So, I got my bummis whisper cover today and the package says not to tuck the diaper into the front flap.
So... I'm confused on what the flap is for? The Flip has a front and back flap that you tuck the diaper into.....

Re: Bummis Whisper
It's an extra layer of pul to protect from leaking through the stitching on the velcro strip.

Re: Bummis Whisper
I just wonder if there's a chance the insert will ride up if you don't tuck it? I have wicking problems with grovia because there's no flap.
does anyone tuck their diaper under the flap anyways?

Re: Bummis Whisper
Both Bummis and Thirsties say that, but I tuck the prefold in anyways. I've never had a leak from it EVER. The few times I didn't tuck the prefold in it ended up shifting around and then we got leaks out the top.

I never tuck them in and never have problems with leaking or riding up the front.

I got leaks when I tucked under the flap. I don't have any trouble with bunching or leaking using it the way they instruct.

Re: Bummis Whisper
I don't tuck mine and have never had any trouble with bunching or leaking. These covers hold everythign I've ever tried under them in place perfectly. I have to say that I have tried tucking and had leaking that way but I've got a very heavy wetting little boy. Like a bunch of others said, it works for lots of people. The only way to find out is to go ahead and try it! Good luck. You're gonna love these covers
