Best BPA free bottle for pumped milk???

I exclusively breastfed my DD until she was 26 months and weaned herself. This time I would like to pump and use a bottle some as well. Any good suggestions? I have just started doing research and see silicone bottles, glass bottles and BPA free plastic. I was hoping to get some good insight from Moms.

Thanks!
Cara

I use life factory and born free bottles. Both are BPA free. I'm not sure if there is a "best," its more like trial and error to find what works for your little one.

We really like the Mam bottles. We've stuck with the newborn flow nipple even though DS is 14 months. I figured my boobs never changed flow, so why should the bottles?

Re: Best BPA free bottle for pumped milk???

I used Playtex drop ins last time with dd1, but she was in daycare and I had to pump and make bottles every day.

This time I have a Gerber Nuk and the Evenflo Glass bottles for dd2. I really really like the glass ones because I can pump in them, store in them, and then put on a nipple and feed with them. Right now I am pumping a lot and giving bottles because dd2 is way too distracted to empty my breasts during a feed and she is more interested in solids. I like reheating in glass too because I don't feel bad doing it. I just stick the bottle in a cup of hot water and let warm.

This! I thought I had it all planned out and bought the breastflow bottles... Well dd doesn't like them. So then I bought the avent bottles because my last dd liked those... And she didn't like those either. Anyways she ended up liking nuk and original drop ins (that's the ones with the brown natural latch nipples) so it's kinda trial and error till you find one your baby likes!

We use BPA-free plastic ones from First Years, the ones with the Breastflow nipples. DS doesn't hate them, but still prefers the boob

With my first I used Playtex drop-in or Playtex vent air with my second it took 9 months to find one she would take. She will only take Dr Browns Bottles

For storage in the fridge, we use Evenflo glass bottles. They are relatively inexpensive. I pump into the bottles that came with my pump (tried pumping into the glass, but the bottles just felt to heavy for my hands free kit), and then transfer immediately to the glass bottles. For feeding, since we wanted a wide mouth nipple, we are using Pura Stainless Steel bottles.
