I prefer hemp because (correct me if I am wrong) I am under the impression that its the best for the environment. Cotton is my second but I try to buy either used or organic. Because of that I have never actually tried bamboo but I have been eyeing some hemp/bamboo jersey fabric to make some prefolds...

love cotton knits for diaper outers but equally love bamboo for its absorbency. My favorite diaper I ever made had a knit cotton guitar print outer (Groovy guitars) with OBV inner and the insert was bamboo terry... epitome of fabulous!
