Pumping at work ?

So I talked to our owner and she said there was no need for me to clock out because I'm allowed to have 15 minute breaks

there is not a time clock at work, but i get 2 paid breaks so that's my pumping time, even though it takes a bit more than 15 minutes..my employer is awesome and very understanding of me taking pump breaks.

I agree with the pp's. If others don't have to clock-out for a 15 minute break and that is all the time you are taking, then I would challenge your boss.

I mostly work on a laptop and can bring it with me to the pumping room. Since my pump is hands free, I pump and work at the same time, so it isn't an issue at all.

I don't clock out for pump breaks, but I have a private office so I am able to use that time to complete the paperwork components of my job.

I don't think our agency requires anyone to clock out for pump breaks, even if they're not able to continue to work through.
