Do I need a mei tai ?

I have a sling & a Beco, but DD seems to like being on my side. The Beco doesn't seem to accomodate the side carry very well. Should I try a MT? Any suggestions on a certain type if so?

I liked having a MT. I'd give one a try. Perhaps you could find a nice used one on FSOT, then if you like it upgrade to a new one.

but I'm an enabler for a hip carry, I usually use my rs. but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my MT(s) my fave is my eden

I would try a pouch for a side carry. I loved my mei tei for my back but not so much my hips

I love my mei tai, but I think I like my pouch better for the hip carry too. The mei tai does work though, I made my own, so I guess I'm my favorite brand

When you say "pouch"... what exactly does that mean. I have a Kangaroo Korner sling, that I think is supposed to work for side carry, but it seems like DD needs to be a little bit bigger.
