Mini Crib recommendations?

Any recommendations for a safe and sturdy mini crib that is MDF and Formaldehyde free ? Not a portable crib (no wheels, no folding, etc) just something smaller than a standard crib that has stationary sides (no drop-down)? Also, any organic mattress that you recommend with the mini crib you recommend (want a good crib/mattress fit).

TIA for sharing

Re: Mini Crib recommendations?

I have a smaller crib. It's a european sized crib. they are a fair bit smaller than a north american one but my dd is a really big 2yr old and she's still in it. Mine has a drop side but I'm sure you can find some that don't.

I was in ikea yesterday and thought their cribs looked smaller than average but i wasn't sure. they don't have drop sides.

I thought even online that the Ikea cribs looks a bit smaller . . . I will have to check. I love the idea of a smaller crib Thanks much!

The ikea are standard size. They just look smaller from being lower to the ground. I have an ikea crib and it is the same as others.
I am looking fir a smaller (euro style) crib and there isn't much out there available in the U.S. For a good price.

Thank you, this is helpful to know about Ikea . . . bummer! I really just want a smaller (euro size/style) crib but it is difficult to find. There are a few out there but not sure if they are any good and then I am worried about finding a mattress to fit it.

Try Target online. I have been looking there because I want a smaller crib as well.

Million Dollar Baby has a mini crib. It will convert to a twin size bed later on too. It is pretty nice and the company is very reputable!
