Do you gain weight after weaning?

I can't wait to wean to lose these last 10 lbs!! My dd is 15 mths with no end in sight....:/

This is my problem too...I still have so much pregnancy weight to lose! Why won't it come off? My body must be preparing for some sort of emergency where food won't ever be available again!

Congrats on your 1st 3lbs! I've had those same thoughts of looking forward to weaning because of the extra weight. I also have about 15lbs more I want to lose and have recently joined WW. I lost a little over 3lbs the first week and am down a total of 4.6 as of today. Good luck to you!

I also have not lost any weight from bf (except the initial pp weight loss), and am hoping it will drop when DD weans.

I think if you are eating sensably, when your DS weans, that extra 20 lbs will stay off.
