GMD Reds **Pics included!**

I don't know why I waited SO long to buy these! They are PREFECT size! I got them for daycare but I'm going to have to buy another dozen for myself! DS is very aware of when he pees and but hes hit and miss with the potty. These are great to leave on him. If he does pee its not a huge mess but he still feels the wetness! I need to learn how to use pins though because the snappi doesn't hold long.

how big is your DS? I go back and forth between GMDS and imagines. I have no idea what size to buy.

He's 15 months old. 30lbs almost and 31 inches.

He's in the med setting on his Bg but very close to going to fully unsnaped.

May I suggest the back snappi for going coverless? I've been trying it on dd and the snappi never comes loose, and she actually seems comfortable. Plus then you don't have to worry about them getting caught on things, or the whole snappi pulling at their crotch thing.
Basically you just put the diaper on exactly the same, but while they are laying on their stomach. From the front it kind of looks like a side snapping diaper. The bottom part of the snappi stays tight in the diaper better.

I was thinking about doing that! I have to see if DS will lay still long enough!

Don't do the reds! They'll be too small unless you just plan to trifold. Honestly, try the cottonbabies premium indian prefolds. My ds is 32lbs and they fit awesome. The gmd browns are huge on him, but the cottonbabies are perfect.

Please be very careful with using snappis and going coverless, it can easily snag and cause problems.

I think even with snappi'ing in the back it could be dangerous.

Looks great! Pinning isn't too difficult with Pf's I don't think. Especially with the reds because they are more narrow. I find them to be pretty easy to pin because you have to pull them so tight.

To PP: I also love the traditional premium size for between sizes like red and brown. You do have to fold over but the browns are so much wider and harder to fold over because you have to fold down a smaller amount.

But I have heard Imagine makes a size that is more between the GMD reds and Browns so you might want to check them out.

How do I fold a prefold to make it look like this pic?
