Re: Best Pregnancy Pillow?

How does it work during pregnancy? Do you use the "body pillow" part on your front or against your back. It looks like it might be too firm/tall in front to work around the belly.[/QUOTE]

Its a tubular long pillow that comes out of the mattress topper. It's really soft and I use it in the front, and put it between my legs and kind of curl it back if that makes sense.

Re: Best Pregnancy Pillow?

I started having pain while sleeping early on in pregnancy and it seemed no amount of pillows cut it. We tried a different mattress and that was worse. After shopping around and visiting with some other friends, we got a sleep number bed. Now when I get into the bed I can adjust it to how I'm feeling that day (firmer or softer) and I haven't had any joint/muscle pain sense. Not saying this is for everyone but it sure worked for me (and my husband didn't have to suffer a mattress he didn't like hehe)! I also have some regular pillows I stuff around my back and a body pillow I use sometimes.

I bought the Boppy one and love it. Mine has not gone flat at all and I've been using it since 12wks. It's coming to the hospital with me! I can't sleep without it.

Re: Best Pregnancy Pillow?

I have a regular body pillow, I love it! I also have the boppy one, (the big one) and the bigger I get, the more I'm preferring it. Before I had much of a belly it wasn't very comfortable, but I'm fitting into it much more now.

Re: Best Pregnancy Pillow?

I used this pillow w/ DS1 and also thru my twin pregnancy. I'd use it again in a second. It's nice not having to move it when you roll over. I did also use a small leg pillow for my knees. Even at 38 weeks preggo w/ twins I would sleep for 6 hours straight, go pee, and then sleep a few more hours! The velcro doesn't really work well (it comes undone, but the velcro is really just to make the small panel smaller/shorter. So it was no big deal for me. I just pulled the pillow in and tucked it under the belly.

Re: Best Pregnancy Pillow?

I hear WONDERFUL things about this pillow.
http://dreamgeniiusa.com/ It is a bit pricier at $70, but from what I've read it's totally worth it. It's won a TON of awards too.
