We have a front loader, I use all free and clear, pre rinse, wash on white sanitize cycle with extra rinse at the end....1 hr and 31 min. Then I pretty much always line dry. No stains here after 3 yrs of use.

Have you tried using Eco Sprout Soap?

I am new to the CDing world but someone suggested this soap to me and in the reviews a lot of people have said it gets rid of stink!
