Can you use the pump bag as a diaper bag?

Just wondering if anyone only uses the breastpump bag as a diaper bag instead of having another one? I was thinking about getting the Pump in Style (or the freestyle- ugh, how do I choose??) and I saw it comes in a backpack or a tote. Do you think I would realistically just have one bag? Thanks!

I have a pump in style tote and there would not be enough room to stow bare diaperbag essentials for us. Not sure of others or of the backpack has more room. Plus I'd hate to tote such an expensive item as a diaper bag.

I did for a while, and now I just carry a purse. I still do use the backpack at times. It isn't the most comfortable bag to wear for an extended amount of time, but you can carry a small amount of essentials. If you don't carry the pump at the same time, it is doable, and I like the two-tier organization with the separate compartments. If you have your pump in the bottom, it's hard to fit bottles, flanges, diapers, wipes, change of clothes, wallet, phone (what I carry) but it is possible if you really pack it in mindfully and don't carry too much. My backpack is from 2007, so they may have changed the design since then.

I have the tote that came with the freestyle (I think). It's really only big enough for the pumping supplies.

The backpack in style really doesn't have much room either, it deceptively small
