Do you unsnap your BG one-size MF inserts when you wash them?

I do because I feel like I have a hard enough time getting MF clean that I don't need a crease in the insert as well! But after more than a year of doing it this way, I realize that it's probably kind of counter intuitive to the way they're designed as I'm guessing the snap is there so that you DON'T have to adjust them every time!

Either way, I still like the snap feature as it make stuffing easier because I just go through and re-snap all the inserts and then stuff rather than having to fold each individual one to size as I stuff.

Just wondering how everyone else does it! So, do you unsnap to wash, or do you always leave them snapped to the length you need?

I would always unsnap them. My thought is that they would get cleaner that way, don't know if there is any truth to that though

Re: Do you unsnap your BG one-size MF inserts when you wash them?

I just went to a CD workshop and they said not to unsnap them or rather they aren't meant to be unsnapped. She just said that the only reason they are there is a snap is stronger than a stitch

Who knows, just thought this was an interesting tidbit.

This, but usually unsnap when air drying. No probs in almost two years.

Re: Do you unsnap your BG one-size MF inserts when you wash them?

I tried when we first got them a couple years ago not unsnapping but they didn't seem to dry well that way. They'd stay damp in the crease so I then always unsnapped when I'd put in the wetbag. Now I don't even use the snap just fold it according to wear the snap is-it's easier for us that way
