Yarn ?

Hi all,
I won some yarn and I don't know what I can do with it. It is 4oz + 2oz of trim. I'm not due till April '12. Both of my boys were 11+lbs so newborn size is probably out. Would I be able to get small longies out of it? small or medium shorties? I really want some cute longies but I don't know if it is possible. I am 100% new to cloth and clueless about wool so any ideas? What else can I do with it? Thanks so much

if you use the trim for the waist and the leg cuffs you should be fine with small longies. i just made a pair for a friend's baby in small with a super long inseam and i had 4 oz of colorway and 1 ounce of trim and i was fine. i had enough left over to make a hat even. As far as shorties. i only use 4oz (plus a waistband trim) to make shorties for my 20 month old, and i make them long, more like manpris, so you should be totally fine with almost any size shorties!

You have more than enough to make a small longies and you can even get medium size with that yarn Or large if you make stripes with the colorway and the trim color
