how often does your 12 month old still nurse..

breakfast, before morning nap, before afternoon nap, late afternoon snack, bedtime and once in the night... yea i'm pretty lazy with the solids

Mine is 11.5 months old and nurses 1-2 times overnight and maybe 3-4 times during the day/evening.

mine is 13 months and still nurses at least 10 times a day. If he is busy and doesn't nurse much during the day he makes up for it during the night.

I have twins. One only gets like 1 cup of whole milk a day, and nurses for the rest, so a lot. The other isn't on whole milk at all (he has food issues), so also nurses a ton!

I have a 14 month old DS and no, you aren't alone! Some days he nurses more than he did when he was little! I work FT, but when I'm home on the weekends he does drive by nursing. He'll climb up in my lap, nurse for a minute, go play, come back and nurse again, and on and on. Usually he does it most in the AM before breakfast. Then we have breakfast, play time, nursing, nap time (hopefully), play time again, lunch time, nursing, nap time (hopefully), playtime, nursing, dinner time, nursing, bedtime. And then he nurses all throughout the night. On a work day I nurse him before work, as soon as I get home from work, then we do drive by nursing in the evenings before dinner, then dinner, then nursing, then bed (and nursing most of the night).

I love nursing, but I also love days where he is totally disinterested unless he's tired! I get a break!
