Re: ACCOUNTABILITY THREAD

My list feels long:

*Make blanket for baby-- about 1/3 of the way done
*deep clean house
*Clean out freezers-- almost done
*make freezer meals for after birth
*PICK A NAME for our little girl-- mn picked, down to 4 choices for first
*Take stock of what we have of baby stuff, weed out extras & sell/return and fill in gaps got everything we need...returned what we can, need to sell excess
*organize & clean out closets 2 more closets left
*sell some stuff on ebay/craigslist/DS
*do some Christmas shopping nieces & nephews done, now need to work on gift-exchange stuff w/ brothers & sisters-in-law
*re-cover glider? not gonna happen
*make wipes solution
*gather stuff for homebirth kit about 1/2 way done

Done:
*take a birthing class-- last class on Tues.
*get all diapers & 0-3 clothes, blankets, etc. washed and prepped-- Done!
*get dogs annual vet check & 3 yr. rabies on 1 dog & cat Done!
*Empty, paint & set up nursery (decided not to paint, but it's set and pretty much ready to go!!)
*buy cargo carrier for cartop (got this on craigslist for less than 1/2 the new price & it looks brand new!!!)
*buy wedding gifts (1 down, 1 to go...the one we got was great, Macy's had a buy 1 get 1 sale for china, so we were able to get two place settings. Then, I noticed that it was free shipping if I added $10 to the cart, so I got another thing off their registry & then used a 20% off coupon--it went below the free shipping amt, but I still got it...so 2 place-settings of china--regularly $70+ each & a paper towel holder...random, I know...for about $60 shipped!!!)
*buy gifts for shower & wedding close to due date Done!

Feels like I haven't made much progress lately. Hopefully I'll kick my butt into gear soon, but I just started work again for the new school year, so a lot less free time than I had in the summer.

Here is the pattern. It was really simple to knit up:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...bug-sleep-sack

The yarn I had was just a colorway I had from when I first started knitting so I don't know but it's worsted weight.

I need someone to knit this for me. It's so cute!

morgan how to sleep sacks work? DS was a march (in LA no less) baby so I just put him in those sleeper gowns... but do you use it like a diaper cover? do you lanolize it and so I don't have to put a cover on the baby? or is it just to keep the baby warm?

Re: ACCOUNTABILITY THREAD

Mollie - I know some people use them as diaper covers too but I won't be. I'd maybe as around in extra fluffy about that because I'm a wool over a cover kind of girl.

Naura- I looked the other day for some acrylic and I couldn't find any I loved. I was really sad about it because I want to make him another one.

Also wanted to add:

IF you knit that sleep sack it says to do K1, P1 and I'd recommend doing K2, P2 for the look and stretch of it.
