Flats in Pockets?

Ok Mama's, I am looking for a trim stuffer for pockets, I Have Prefolds and i find them a bulky. Would flats be a good stuffer? Are they trimmer? how is the absorbency? I'm thinking that if they would be a good alternative to a prefold i would try the "flats"(towels) from Walmart/Target.
Thanks in Advance!

I find them trimmer than prefolds, and just as - if not a bit more absorbent. always worth a try

They are way trimmer than pf's. I love stuffing my pockets with flats and hemp.

Re: Flats in Pockets?

Thanks! Do you have a favorite flat? Do you think the Target/Walmart Flat is a good one? Or hold off to buy a big name brand "real" flat?

I use the flour sack tea towels as flats and stuff my pockets with them. They are great! They are trim, absorbent, and only $1 each! (target/walmart)

I'm dying to try some of these but I still haven't made it to walmart.

Good question! I was thinking of trying prefolds or flats because my battle with microfiber stinkies is wearing me out. Good to know that prefolds are kinda bulky. after reading this I may just have to try flats instead!

Re: Flats in Pockets?

flats are the only thing I use in pockets. I did this to mine, its also how you could fold them to fit perfectly:
