We are one of the unlucky families whose child was vaxed on schedule, and the child has significant delays. Yes, I know this could be a coincidence. Somehow, though, it's different when it's actually happening to you. If vaxing does have anything to do with autism/delays, then it is probably only in children who *already had* a predisposition for not being able to excrete the toxins in the vax. Therefore, I will not be vaxing my and DH's second child (my third child) on schedule, but will be delaying, AND will only be doing the bare minimum school state requirements. After all, if it's a genetic predisposition set off by the vax, well, our second child has our combined DNA, too.

FTR, our second DS is three years old, has an indistinct five-word vocabulary and cognitive delays and has shown no language development in the past twelve months despite speech therapy, special classes and Early Intervention combined since last November.

Nope, not willing to roll the dice on another child's future.
