We vax, but delayed the hep. b for a while (didn't think that a newborn still learning to nurse & breathe air really needed an immune system challenge, too!) My first had a clinical case of chicken pox rather than the vaccine, but with my second we couldn't find any chicken pox to expose her to (tried for over 2 years) so we broke down & gave her the shot. Neither child has ever had an adverse reaction to any of the vaccines (phew!)

None that you know of right now. We don't have any idea what is going on inside bodies injected with the ingredients of vaccines. Immunologists don't even know why vaccines work the way they do.

We've had local outbreaks of many of the "regular" diseases -- rubella, mumps -- and hearing of kids dying in the LOCAL hospital makes it all hit home.

We selectively vax. Tyler didn't get Hep B, Bailey was on schedule til this last time I refused Hep A, No chix pox and no flu shots... and I haven't decided on everything els for tyler yet... Bailey is almost done with her shots so I'll let it slide.

With DJ, I did what I was told and vaxed on schedule, up till 15 months (I think). I tried to fight the flu and chicken pox shots but his doc was a bully and she did seem to have some valid arguments based on his history so I gave in. He's due for his 2-year shots in July and I'm still researching...haven't totally made up my mind yet. For the new baby, I started out saying I would do selective/delayed vaxes, but the more I look into which ones to give and when, the more it seems like either none of them are necessary or they're all a good idea...I'm having a hard time figuring out a good schedule. I have a lot of mixed feelings on the issue...if we vax, I'll definitely be asking them to spread them out instead of giving a bunch at once. But I won't be consenting to anything until I'm sure.

We fully vax. I do delay the CP vax and a few others, but we fully vax.

I do delayed vaccines. After my middle dd got a severe reaction at 4 months, I decided she couldnt get that many at once anymore. So I only do one or 2 ( if combo vax) at a time. and it worked out to be ready for school. Except chicken POX. I hate this vaccine but my kids needed it for school. so they got it right before they were registered.
emma is 2 1/2 nd is not caught up yet, but we have time!! LOL
