How tall is she? My DS is 23-24 lbs and about 33 inches tall but has a fairly long rise. Just wondering if we should go for mediums or larges. I'm leaning toward large but don't want them to be bulky. Just wondering if others have thoughts on this?

Re: Dear Simplex, I know it was only the first date....

I just got some for DS and have used them a couple times....they are great so far! (v1). He is 22 lbs and tall and chunky. Large snapped on the first or second snap on legs and I think second snap on waist is a good fit for him. I can't see him fitting in a medium unless he had tiny legs. They line dried really fast--faster than my Grovia AIO and faster than MEOS. Not as fast as flats, of course

Thanks for posting this! My DS does not have tiny legs so I'll be getting large, once I sell a few things.

We just got 4 new simplex with the stretchy tabs - for night time. They are well made diapers! We leak at night though - how many washes does it take to prep these buggers? I even stuff with an sbish bamboo doubler.

I wish they had a front-closure option. I really want to try them but my DD has kind of smaller thighs and a big ole pot belly so we have a hard time with side snaps.

Anyone try them on a baby like this yet?

Can someone help me out too with sizing? My DS just turned one, is 28 inches and 19 lbs. What size do I get him? I am most worried about the rise.

Your ds is about the size of mine. Mediums still fit!! My ds was 19# and 28" at his 6 month checkup. I think we are still on the smallest setting actually.

I have been trying to hold out on trying anything new, as I've spent most of my store budget on brands I already know and love, but I think I am going to have to try these while my son is still in diapers..

I so wish they had these in a front closure, especially some sort of hook & loop style. I love the idea of the birdseye inner (it is my most favorite cotton diapering material!) but there is no way that side snaps will work for my 20 month old. He's got a big belly, small rear and short rise. We really only get a good fit with front aplix but I would so love a natural fiber AIO like this otherwise.
