is ec right for us?

I have to return to working full time in one month and my dd will be going to daycare. My daycare provider is willing to give cloth diapers a try but I didn't want to push it with ec so I never tried. Is it worth it to just do ec at home or is that too confusing? Dd hates having a dirty diaper so I think she'd catch on quick! Also I wet the bed until I was around 13 and am hoping ec might help dd to not follow in my foot steps. Sorry if this question has been asked a million times!

Re: is ec right for us?

You can do part time EC. I do not think it will confuse your daughter if her elimination needs are met at home only.
Babies are smart. She will figure out who responds to her needs, who doesn't and will "talk" to the ones who respond.

EC is more communication than tranining. So it is not a result that matters but the process.
I am sure you both will enjoy it.

We started around seven months just at home and two months later what a difference. I believe that you can make ec work for your family and once others see how it's going, they may start to get on board.
