Swaddlebees flats question
I have fallen in love with flats! I'm changing my stash to all flats and fitteds for night. I bought a ton of Ikea flats from some very sweet mamas on the FSOT and I LOVE them! I was searching for more flats with prints and came across the Swaddlebees...SOOO cute! Well, I got an email about them being on clearance so I ordered one pack of each print! I got them today and they are adorable but the edges are only serged, not T&T like the Ikea flats. Is this the normal way they are made or is this what makes them seconds? I love them anyway but I'm just curious. Thanks!

I just bought some from clearance, too. I'm not sewing savvy at all so I don't even know what serged is (blush). I'm looking at one of mine now though (the orange dots) mine has stitching around the ends and nothing I see is saying they look funny?? What's t&t?

Re: Swaddlebees flats question
Mine aren't seconds and they're like that as well. It doesn't bother me at all though. I find they're a much truer square than the Ikea flats, making folding them easier.

Yep, that is the way they are made. I like them ok but the prints faded BIG TIME within 3 washes. Especially the elephants (I only bought the blue). I'm planning on selling mine as soon as my Little Lions flats arrive.
Sent from my iPad, please excuse the autocorrect typos

Re: Swaddlebees flats question
Thanks ladies! T&T is turned and topstiched. It doesn't bother me. I have heard from another mama that they faded pretty bad. Oh well, for ten bucks I don't guess I mind so much.

Re: Swaddlebees flats question
Yep that's the way mine are made, too. I also was disappointed in how much the elephants and the giraffes faded! But the flats themselves are fantastic and last much better than the Ikea flats. Much easier to fold, too!

Re: Swaddlebees flats question
Mine weren't seconds and they are surged as well. I really like them! I haven't noticed mine fading much yet. I have a couple Ikea flats which just don't seem as durable and Osocozy Flats which are great for littler babies and padfolding but quite small for diaper folding older babies and not very square either. I haven't tried LL or GMD but want to
Trying to decide if I should get more Swaddlebees or branch out and get something different!
