Adding to a prefold

Bought some flannel to make wipes yesterday. Only using half of what I bought I can make 21 wipes. That's mor then enough since I wash every other day to every 3 days and only use 6-8 wipes in the time frame. I wanted to know if I could add some of the flannel to the prefold? I was thinking just doing it in the middle of a few prefolds. If I can what's the best way to sew it on (ie: straight line, zig zag line). Just wanting to add a little cuteness.

Re: Adding to a prefold

I think zig-zag over the edge of the material will keep it looking neater for a longer time. Have fun! I am making flannel wipes today, too!

Re: Adding to a prefold

I fold the edges under (so it's neater) and pin then zig zag over the edges.
