What would you do?

I left my double jogger outside overnight...oops. A chipmunk chewed up the straps and cushion on one of the seats. And pooped in it...a lot! Yes, I'm sure it was a chipmunk Because I saw it in there.

So, I'm totally grossed out. Everything is totally functional, just chewed. The straps are sewn to the stroller so I can't just get replacement parts.

This is my backup stroller that I only use for going for walks from home. I have another one. It's funny because I have been debating selling this one for some time....

My question is, what do I do with it? It's perfectly functional.

If it's perfectly functional I would just wash it really well and keep using it as before. I would spray it out with hose first and then use the cleanser of your liking to scrub it down and rinse it out with the hose. Set in sun (away for chipmunks if possible ) to dry

THis May sound odd but do u have a way to get it to a do it yourself car wash? THey work really well at getting stuff clean. I did this when My playpen needed a good clean and my water hose @ home wasnt cutting it for me.

I'm leaning towards getting rid of it. Mostly because I was going to anyway as it's my extra that I used with the twins 9 years ago. I have another double that's nicer.
I hate to just throw it away though.... Do you think someone would want it if I offered it for free on cl or something?

Re: What would you do?

Yuck, I'd but a cheap new one if you still "need" one.

Re: What would you do?

I'd for sure try to post it for free on craigslist or freecycle. I've had people pick up old broken vacuum cleaners so I'm sure someone would want a usable stroller. It might be nice if you would clean it first but I'm sure someone would still take it dirty too.
