Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
Hello! Do any Mommas have advice, tips, or tricks for having two little ones in cloth diapers? My DS will be 20 months old when baby #2 gets here but he's still in size small diapers at 18 months old! (he has a tiny but
) So, they may both be in smalls at some point.... Do I really need double of everything - 2 diaper pails, etc.?? Just FYI I'm using FLIP and Nikky covers with FLIP stay dry and softbums pods. Thanks in advance for any help with ideas or past experience!

I had 3 in diapers at one point for awhile, lol! I used mainly one size fitteds and covers, worked great!

Re: Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
I have two in diapers. DS#2 was 19mo when I had DS#3. I used mostly inserts and covers for about 5 months or so and it worked great. If I waited to do laundry every 2 days I would have to do two loads though to get everything clean. All of the dirty diapers/inserts for 2 days were just too many to wash at once. I just switched over my stash to AIOs and I have 2 dozen per boy and it is working great. I wash every other day, but do need to buy a larger diaper pail.

Re: Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
I have three right now in diapers. We did flats and Nikkys this spring, because it was so simple and easy for me to wash. Now, we do mostly pockets and are moving into fitteds. Our oldest dd though has been in panties the last day!! So, I would recommend having enough to get you through a couple of days and using a one-size system

I've had two in dipes several times and I agree with the one size thing. We mostly use pockets and I only have one pail and do laundry every other day.

Re: Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
Thanks so much for the help ladies!
So it sounds like a one-size cover would be even more economical with two kids.... you've given me food for thought |

Re: Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
Those numbers are so helpful! Thank you! So basically it sounds like I will need at least 2 dozen in each size...

Re: Tips/tricks for having two in diapers
When my last baby was born, I used a lot of OS AIOS for her and my dd that was 18 months older
