Tandem Question

I have an almost 4 month old and a 16 month old, they both nurse and my 1yo nurses every.single.time her brother does...and she has cut back on her table foods...she would rather nurse.... Anyone else dealing with this? I cant tell her no, her face crumbles and i know its good for her, just exhausting LOL

How do i get her to eat more table foods? I need her to eat at least 1 meal so i can get her vitamins into her, otherwise she throws them up on her empty tummy!

My odd and DS tandemed and my odd stopped eating completely, she was 3! It gets better and they do start to eat more. I found it was just a transitional phase. you will get through it. Before you know it they both will be eating solids and this will be a story you tell them when they are grown. My odd is 13 and DS is 10 we laugh about it now. Good luck!

My DS was this way he wanted to nurse constantly around 15-16 months some days it was every 3 hours same as baby sister I tried to find healthy snacks he would eat but some days it didn't happen I had to start telling him no he was sad the first few days and than was fine with it and started eating better and was nursing 3-4 times a day until he weaned

My older nursling was older than yours when we tandemed, but after the first few weeks and the novelty wore off, I limited her to nursing at just certain times of the day and the rest of the time the milk was for the baby.
