Flats on newborn with umbilical cord
Does anyone have any advice on using flats when umbilical is still attached? I have a prowrap cover and litewrap covers. Do you recommend other covers for this method? I have 3 covers and was thinking about getting 3 more--do you think that's a good amount?

Re: Flats on newborn with umbilical cord
I've been using flats on my newborn. I mostly use them coverless at home, but as far as PUL goes the sized thirsties have worked great. Mostly though, I use wool and just folded it down when she still had the cord.

Re: Flats on newborn with umbilical cord
Thirsties covers are pretty good. I also used some WAHM (Heartland Dreams) newborn and Fishnoodles (which was my fave newborn cover!). It is kinda nice to have a couple newborn specific things. Even though you may not use them TOO long, the fit is worth it IMO.

There is a fold that is designed for NB, you can look it up on youtube.
