Ugh. Baby bum under my ribs *already*??!
How am I supposed to do anything productive, like, yaknow, *breathing*, if I'm already feeling like my ribs are being pushed apart!? I swear, I feel 3rd-trimester-ish already! At supposedly 27 weeks.
Anyone else?

Re: Ugh. Baby bum under my ribs *already*??!
hehe the other day I was chatting with DH about how I have to buy used clothes for DD then all of a sudden she was all up in my business and I had to catch my breath! now I"m gonna buy new clothes for her (lol). I never really had to do that because DS was so low. :P
its worse when it feels like she is going through a growth spurt. it was exactly that last night. I feel so exhausted but don't feel like eating anything because I feel like my ribs are gonna pop out.

Re: Ugh. Baby bum under my ribs *already*??!
I have no baby anywhere near close to my ribs or lungs (thankfully, with severe asthma, it's hard enough to breathe without baby crowding in there) because she is LOW and transverse. That poses a whole bunch of other muscle/ligament/bladder painful problems...I feel for you ladies, but I don't think any way is a *good* way for baby to lay...you know?

You feel third trimester-y because YOU ARE THIRD TRIMESTER-Y! I am 4 days away. It is flying by and crawling at a snail's pace all at the same time

Re: Ugh. Baby bum under my ribs *already*??!
Gosh, I guess I am 3rd-trimester-y already....!
That said, I did just measure my fundal height and I'm measuring over. Like 4 weeks over. It could just be a fluke, but now I'm wondering... I have baby-stabs and movement way down low, too. I go to a birth circle meeting tomorrow, and I think I'll ask the midwives and doulas there to poke around on me and have them measure as well. Cant' hurt to get more opinions!

Well I'll be 26 weeks on Wednesday and I've been feeling like that for about 2 weeks. He's always been measuring bigger than the Gestational age.
Also, OT Question but I thought 3rd trimester was at 25 weeks.

Re: Ugh. Baby bum under my ribs *already*??!
yeah, I was thinking 3rd trimester was 28 weeks, but there are several ways to slice up 40 weeks into three parts. even so, 28 weeks is, like, pretty much right now for me--it crept up on me, lol!

Most stuff I've read says, if you divide it developmentally, it's 1-12, 13-26, 27-40.
