Re: Daily Chat 8/15-8/21

Ok, my hubby had been deployed and recently got back in March. I mentioned it on facebook and to friends and so on. I even have mentioned him in conversations and on my status updates. But yet, I had a couple people asking me where he was these days. Seriously....you'd think that after 5 months with lots of photos and status updates including him they'd be more aware. I also can't believe they'd not think this baby is his. Maybe I'm taking this the wrong way...but it seems like that's what they are wondering when they ask where he is.

That sounds so frustrating. I have to bite my tongue sometimes to not make stupid coments back to people when they ask about obvious things. I have been getting so much better about it lately. DH is a bad influence on me though.

Surprising that people would suggest such things, especially if they know that you're married. I had to tell a guy giving coffee samples that I didn't want his sample because I don't like coffee but he continued insisting so I told him I'm pregnant. His next question was if it had the same father as DD!!! WHAT?! Who asks such things?? Especially to a stranger.

When I told my mom I was pregnant with DD her response was "Do you think you'll still be with DH in 5 years?" Nice mom, thanks

We have so much pressure from society as it is and apparently even the grocery store workers, we need our family to be supportive and keep their negative comments to themselves.

That sounds soooo good. I started craving seaweed today and then top ramen. Although I'm a celiac so I can't eat top ramen, not even just the sauce packet. I think I shall have hubby pick up some pickles and seaweed tomorrow!

Ewww food.

I am six weeks today and I am *hoping* morning sickness has culminated to its worst. Even my "windows" I can still barely eat and have to be very selective about what I eat. I also slept in til 10 30 today and yet I can barely keep my eyes open. I was hoping this might be one of those pregnancies I hear of that are easy or don't have much morning sickness but it looks like its not to be.

My dh and I are supposed to go out and see a movie together tonight for the first time since DD2 was born to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. (which was Aug 10th) I really hope I will be feeling up to it.

Re: Daily Chat 8/15-8/21

Me? I'm craving nachos and salsa. I did with my last pregnancy.. even between the vomiting.. and salsa isn't pleasant coming out upwards...

I'm just thankful so far hyperemesis hasn't shown its ugly face. With DS it started out early full force. This time, if I eat regularly to keep stomach always full, I might feel nauseous sometimes, but don't vomit. The only three times I've vomited so far have been on empty stomach and bile. So, I'm thinking this pregnancy will be different.

But I do get pregnancy migraines. But I've been told to give myself slushee BRAIN FREEZE and it will help 'cure' it! curious to try it
