My Mood:
Tiny amt of solid food=super stinky diapers?

My LO is starting a few solids (he's breastfed). In a given day he may get a few bites of banana or canteloupe or bread (just a few examples). However, his diapers are now super stinky. Is that normal or a sign of an allergy?

I don't think that is a sign of an allergy. That's just a sign that the normal flora (gut bacteria) is changing due to the new foods. That's normal. Signs of allergy are: rash, redness around mouth/hands, hives (small red bumps on the skin), swelling of the mouth or throat, in ability to breath, difficulty swallowing, blood in the stool, etc. Eczema can also be a sign of allergy to some food, usually in the mother's breastmilk.

I wouldn't worry about stinky poop. That's just what happens when you start giving solids. It changes things.
