Try These Brownies!

Got this recipe from my midwife. She was telling me that eating beans throughout the day can help with morning sickness, and told me that for those who don't care for beans these brownies are a great option. I was VERY skeptical, but I made a batch and.... YUM!!! You would NEVER guess! TRY them, for real!

DDC too but I wonder if I could put the black beans in a blender as I don't have a food processor?

Re: Try These Brownies!

We used a blender for them when I was at a friend's house. You might have to add the liquid ingredients before the beans are fully blended in order for it to work, that's what we did, otherwise we couldn't get them to blend smooth on their own.

You can also make ice cream with beans in it. I have yet to try it though. I also make a mac and cheese meal using beans as a thickener instead of flour. I just puree it and mix it with milk and cheese while on the stove.
