I will when I get home I'm at dinner w/a friend now. It won't let me post a link to my album for some reason...says I don't have enough posts to put a link to my pics.

I think $15-$20 for a quality stocking is VERY reasonable (and I'm very cheap!). I think the charater or furry ones with a plastic letter on them (cheapy ones) at Target sell for that much and they can't even be washed (for fear of it falling apart afterward!). I would love to see pics, too.

Re: Christmas stockings! :)

Thank you all yes, I tried to be a little cheaper than the crappy target ones...and I'm way cheaper than the crazy ones at places like Hobby Lobby. The first year I did them, I charged $25 for them...even without the rick rack or trim -- that evolved in the second year I started doing it. But I guess people think that it starts to get expensive because they want to order for their entire family -- and ordering 5 or more stockings can get pricey...so I dropped my prices

Stocking Album

I think it's going to let me post the link now

Re: Christmas stockings! :)

Those are really beautiful! I love them! The fabric combinations are really great and the sewing looks good. I don't think I've seen anything quite like them.

Is the ric rac stitched or glued down? I'm wondering how permanent it is or if it will peel in time?

I think $25 for ric rac and embroidery seems fair.

It's sewn down! I usually use clear nylon thread, so you can't even see it! Will not peel!!!

I agree that this is reasonable! I'm bummed b/c I just bought some cheap handmade Xmas patched ones on Etsy for SO & I. My SIL made ones for the 3 kiddos last year & is making one for the babe! this sounds more like what I was looking for!!
