Good morning! I was totally MIA yesterday because dh worked from home which means I'm not on my computer all day. But he's back at the office today so I can keep up on chatting!

I am in my 3rd trimester, as of today . That said, I feel like 3 more mos is such a long time. How will I ever make it?

Thia-- I officially hit the 3rd trimester yesterday too It's 28 weeks right? The weeks/months thing always has me thrown.

Good morning everyone
I'm very sore today my DS woke up at 12:30 last night and I fell down the stairs after I got him back to sleep now my back hurts and my little toe on my right foot but baby seams fine she is moving this morning I have a check up with my midwife at 2:00 today and DD has her 1year check at 3:00

Kayti-everything i've read says 27 wks, but I know there are several different ways to divide it. Developmentally, I was told 1-12, 13-26, 27-40.

I've also heard the 3rd trimester starts at 27 weeks.

Gotta go, my mornings are crazy now. I basically wake up, feed kids, shower, get the kids all dressed, pack DDs lunch and take her to school. I only have a few extra minutes this morning because I happened to wake up before everyone else!

If weeks 13-26 are the 2nd trimester, then I guess I have a week and a day left to go......I hit 26 weeks tomorrow. I feel like everything's going by super slow,too. I know I'll survive the 3 months and all, some days it just seems like such a long road ahead.

So I have a pg friend who is due in the middle of Sept. with her first. She told me that she was 9 months pg as soon as she turned 36 weeks. What I can't figure out is why that is bothering me so much, other than it means that everyone is 10 months when they are due.
When people ask you how many months you are, if you try to give them an answer how do you go about figuring the months?
I typically count the day I think I got pg as day 14, go backwards 14 days and use that as day 1. Then on that day every month I have completed another month. So I figure I will have 6 months done by that date this month and so I will tell people that I'm somewhere in the 7th month. But that puts me with 9 months done about a week before my due date still I think that might be better than having 9 months done 4 weeks before my due date.

I'm so with you. I keep thinking it would be nice if it only took 4-5 months for a baby to grow inside before coming out.
